Friends and Parents of the Library have an opportunity during the year to purchase books for the Library and commemorate them as a tribute to special family members, teachers, or students. Authors can come to discuss their books and read a short story to students.
During these visits, the authors discuss their own writing processes with students, their motivations to write, and how they have come to be published. Students are encouraged to ask questions and converse with the authors. Students also get the opportunity to purchase books directly from the author and receive autographed copies.
